Important Dates in the Tax Year Calendar


Below is a list of important dates surrounding the billing and collection of taxes during the course of the tax year.

November Current Tax Statements are mailed. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 29, Section 2915)
December 31st Last day to pay full amount or one-half payment of taxes before becoming delinquent. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 29, Section 2913)
February Delinquent and second half notices mailed. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 29, Section 2913)
March 31st Last day to pay second half payment of taxes before becoming delinquent. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 29, Section 2913)
April Delinquent notices mailed.
May Delinquent Personal Tax published to become a Tax Lien on June 1st. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 31, Section 3102)
May Publication for the Resale to be held on 2nd Monday in June. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 31, Section 3102)
June 1st Personal Tax Lien Docket. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 31, Section 3103)
Second Monday in June Tax Resale on all real estate accounts that have three (3) years or more of delinquent taxes. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 31, Section 3105)
Mid July Delinquent Real Estate Tax notices are mailed. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 31, Section 3106)
September Publications for the delinquent Real Estate Taxes. (Oklahoma Statute, Title 68, Chapter 1, Article 31, Section 3127)
